So back in November, Costume SuperCenter sponsored me for a cosplay. They gave me a budget to stick in and turned me loose on their website to pick out whatever sparked my interest. After browsing literally every costume they had on their website, I decided to go for Kitana from Mortal Kombat.
Throughout the whole experience, Mathew at CSC was super sweet and very accommodating, answering my questions almost immediately! After making my choice, within 48 hours I was informed that it had shipped out, and I was provided a tracking number for the package. It arrived super fast and as soon as I got it I excitedly ripped into the package!
The box was quite sturdy, and inside the items were packed with air-pockets to help prevent the costume from getting crushed, or bouncing around too much. The box was also well sealed, it had been raining quite a bit around the time the package arrived and the box was bone dry!
I was a little antsy about the sizing of this item, I am not a petite girl and even when something says its measurements will fit me, I have learned to be a bit skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it fit wonderfully!
Along with the costume, they also provided a wig for me (which can be seen in the photo above!). However, I am a derp and I melted it with my straightener by accident. For cosplay purposes it wasn't that great, but for Halloween purposes it would do nicely.
The costume is great for Halloween purposes, and as long as you are careful with it, it could be great for cosplay and convention use. It fit like a dream, but in places where it has the silver printed pattern it is prone to cracking. If you are careful with the costume, it won't crack too much. Even when the print cracks however, it is barely noticeable. The boot covers fit over my thunder thighs which was a miracle in itself to me. The material was a nice light metalic and it had a bit of stretch in it which was awesome! I'd definitely recommend this cosplay to someone looking for a Kitana!
Thanks again for the sponsorship, Costume SuperCenter!
