CospaySky Review - Leafa from Sword Art Online!

Hey all!

So I reached out to CosplaySky about a sponsorship and they were really excited to work with me! I shot them an email not expecting to hear anything back, and within 3 days I had a reply! Adam was super awesome, and very helpful. I was given a budget and told to pick out a cosplay. I had stalked the website in advance, so I already knew I wanted the Leafa cosplay. I didn't however have a wig for this cosplay, I found one on the site that would work and when I sent my request for Leafa I mentioned the wig and Adam was kind enough to include it as a gift!

Originally, I didn't want to make too much trouble, so I requested just a standard size for the cosplay, but within hours Adam messaged back and told me they would be happy to make it custom for me. I was a bit worried because I had bad experiences with other sellers with custom sizing, but I decided to take the risk and go for it. I was not disappointed!

The cosplay arrived within 2 1/2 weeks of Adam asking for my address. It was shipped in a green plastic bag. It was sealed completely with packing tape so the cosplay was nice and dry. Inside the green bag, the entire cosplay was wrapped again in a clear plastic bag. Everything was folded nicely.

(Excuse the derp picture lol.)

I was pleasantly surprised to find not only a free wig cap but also a set of black snap hair-clips! All three pieces of the wig were wrapped securely and arrived silky smooth with no tangles.
The cosplay itself was gorgeous! Great material, vibrant coloirs and perfect stitching. The sizing was literally perfect. This cosplay fits like a glove! The bodice even had cups sewn into it to help with boob placement. The package also included a pair of invisible straps to help keep the bodice up! Fantastic!

These guys were a dream to work with, their product is low priced and very high quality! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a cosplay!

Costume SuperCenter Review: Kitana cosplay!

Hey all~

So back in November, Costume SuperCenter sponsored me for a cosplay. They gave me a budget to stick in and turned me loose on their website to pick out whatever sparked my interest. After browsing literally every costume they had on their website, I decided to go for Kitana from Mortal Kombat.

Throughout the whole experience, Mathew at CSC was super sweet and very accommodating, answering my questions almost immediately! After making my choice, within 48 hours I was informed that it had shipped out, and I was provided a tracking number for the package. It arrived super fast and as soon as I got it I excitedly ripped into the package!

The box was quite sturdy, and inside the items were packed with air-pockets to help prevent the costume from getting crushed, or bouncing around too much. The box was also well sealed, it had been raining quite a bit around the time the package arrived and the box was bone dry!

I was a little antsy about the sizing of this item, I am not a petite girl and even when something says its measurements will fit me, I have learned to be a bit skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it fit wonderfully!

Along with the costume, they also provided a wig for me (which can be seen in the photo above!). However, I am a derp and I melted it with my straightener by accident. For cosplay purposes it wasn't that great, but for Halloween purposes it would do nicely.

The costume is great for Halloween purposes, and as long as you are careful with it, it could be great for cosplay and convention use. It fit like a dream, but in places where it has the silver printed pattern it is prone to cracking. If you are careful with the costume, it won't crack too much. Even when the print cracks however, it is barely noticeable. The boot covers fit over my thunder thighs which was a miracle in itself to me. The material was a nice light metalic and it had a bit of stretch in it which was awesome! I'd definitely recommend this cosplay to someone looking for a Kitana!

Thanks again for the sponsorship, Costume SuperCenter!

Kitana from http://www.costumesupercentre.ca!
Oooh~ a box a box!
Nice packaging. Both items were individually wrapped and there was an air bubble pack inside to prevent the items from bumping around.
The costume!
